Myth #1: Oral Surgery is Painful
Truth: Thanks to modern dentistry and excellent anesthetics most patients don't feel a thing during their procedure. It is common to feel some soreness for the first few days after your surgery, but this can be successfully managed with prescription or over-the-counter pain medication as needed. Most patients are pleasantly surprised at how little pain they actually felt throughout the process.
